Cohiba Secreto is one of the Maduro 5 cigars, a proposal for 2007. The Cuban Maduro Wrapper to be used in this new line of Cohiba cigars is five years aged. This smaller cigar is a very intensive smoke with harmonious mix of flavours of chocolate, cocoa and cream with a slightly sweet taste.

Cohiba Secretos’ mark of excellence is the abundance of flavor.

Smoking Notes:

Before lighting up

The cigar gives a wonderful taste of dark chocolate prior to lighting.

Burn/ Draw

It has a wonderful draw and built a straight white ash with each puff.

Initial third:

Cinnamon, cardamom, coffee, and classic Cohiba grass are the predominant flavors. The aroma is all Cohiba.

Middle third:

Some sweet notes start to appear (caramel and/or toffee) along with that Cuban twang. Also detected some more coffee and a little more of that Cohiba grassiness.

Final third:

Flavors open up with some aged tobacco and leather. Extremely well balanced and complex.

In summary, this cigar is a powerhouse full of rich flavors packed into a small format.
